The Coding Critters are off to the North Pole for their last adventure of the year. What do you think they’ll find there? It’s up to you to decide!
Enter our Christmas Coding Critters competition by writing the next Critters adventure, and not only could you win a fantastic bundle of prizes, but you could see your story professionally illustrated too!

All you need to do to enter our Christmas Critters competition is create a Coding Critters Adventure for us, just like the other adventures the Critters have enjoyed this year.
Print out our Critters storyboard, draw and write a Christmas Critters story, and send it to us for a chance to win. (Don’t worry if you can’t print our storyboard, you can always make your own!)
When you’re writing your story, make sure not to put too many words in each box or they won’t all fit. It’s best to stick to no more than 30 words per box.
What should the story be about?
The only requirement is that your story is about the Coding Critters in the North Pole. Other than that, it can be about anything you like!
Perhaps the Critters are helping Santa like they did last year? Maybe they’re looking for a lost polar bear? They could even be helping Santa’s elves decorate the tree, feeding Santa’s reindeer, or perhaps all the Coding Critters are having a huge snowball fight!
You don’t have to include all of the Coding Critters, either; you can pick your favourites if you prefer.
What could you win?
The winner of the competition will see their story professionally illustrated for the world to enjoy, and they’ll also win an enormous bundle of Coding Critters prizes, including a Puzzle Globe! Once their story has been illustrated, it will also be made into a short video narrated by the Learning Resources MD, Dennis Blackmore.
Plus, two runners up will win a Coding Critter of their choice!

Any child in the UK can enter this competition, so get your art supplies ready!
Parents can get their kids doing this as a fun activity, or teachers can get a whole classroom involved. But sorry, grownups: this is a drawing competition for kids only! (you can still have fun creating a story yourself).
The winners will be announced here on the Learning Resources blog on 7th December, and the winning story will be professionally designed and published Friday 11th December. We’ll also share some of our favourite entries here on the blog, so be sure to check back to see your Christmas Coding Critters story shared with the world!
